The Visions Of A Macabre Mind Read online
Page 2
Is it love, desire, desperation or the real thing?
Tell me the answer to the question that I ask
Love so much love that I ask where is the ring
Can you not see the sparkle in her eyes?
The glow of her cheeks the smile on her face
But is it realm or just a friendly mask
A pitiful pleasure so commanding is the might of your grace
For you I will walk on water or dance in a fire
Nothing would be too much for the one I desire
But what is the name of cupid’s creation
The one that can command a standing ovation
Fiona
Gazing into her eyes I see no point of return
The might of her aurora my heart starts to burn
Her smile is carved into my mind
She is my goddess the one I seek to find
Failure and misfortune has always been my way
I know love is a game but it’s a game I cannot play
One of her smiles seem to keep my words at bay
No chance to tell her what I need to say
All my feelings will have to wait another day
Love is a punishment and love is a crime
Old fashioned values in a modern day time
Victory is for others I always seem to fail
Every day is another dream but someday I will prevail
Face to face will I ever be able to overcome my shyness
In that perfect moment will it end in happiness?
Only time will tell if it ends in a kiss
Nothing to lose but everything to miss
All those obstacles to seek that eternal bliss
But will I be too late will she find that other guy
What if she says no will I wave my dreams goodbye?
Why is love so difficult to understand?
So little a word but its meaning so grand
Ode to the girl
Crash and burn all the way
Just another highlight of my day
I ask a girl she tells me where to go
But I’ll keeping on looking searching high and low
I like a challenge I love a quest
But this is not what I do best
I can make them laugh I can make them smile
But if I look for love then it may take a while
What must I do to prove I am real?
Bring you flowers cook you a meal
I just want to say I can love you
There is nothing in the world that I cannot do
Love is a game that’s impossible to play
I have so much to tell but I don’t know what to say
One chance that is all that I ask
To show you the real me that’s not an easy task
Maybe next time
Broken hearts are what make grown men cry
So close to happiness but you just want to wave it goodbye
Don’t even think of what it could have been
You missed the signals that could be clearly seen
Kiss goodbye your last shred of dignity
Before you start to wallow in self-pity
It’s over your dream never came true
Get on with your life that’s the only thing to do
You thought she was the key to open the rest of your life
But she stabbed you in the back with a loving knife
She says that we should still be friends
I suppose that is something in the end
Why am I putting myself through all this pain?
It’s not as if I will never love again
I’ll still be able to face her look her in the eyes
But alas I will never get the prize
Why am I punishing her when she has done nothing wrong?
She told me the truth from the start instead of pulling me along
I love. No respect that she cared not to hurt me
My emotions are confused they can’t intemperate my destiny
They don’t know what is real or imagined in my head
And for once I didn’t wish I was dead
Too many times before when a girl has let me down
I’ve torn myself apart while she regains her crown
Its time to stop hoping that the past will come back
Tomorrow will always be a new day it will never get the sack
Is there any point in trying to change her mind?
These are the answer that I now need to find
If there is none then give up on your dream
If all is lost then you cannot redeem
Just admit defeat and let it rest
You gave it your all you tried your best
Now for once go out with your head held high
Your emotions intact your eyes still dry
Admit defeat you’ve reached the end of the line
Start looking again you never know maybe next time
Exit
No one understands
No one cares
What gives?
Who lies?
Never run
Never hide
Kiss the world
Goodbye
Through the mist
Walking through the mist, the trusty claymore held high
Ready to commence the battle and prepared to die
The sound of the bagpipes conjuring up every ounce of pride
Marching onwards with an army of clansmen at your side
Running through the mist with the pride of Scotland in their hearts they gain the upper hand then the bloody massacre starts
Faces now smeared with the blood of their enemy
Cries of death as the battle reaches its intensity
Through the mist the mass carnage can be clearly seen
Dying for Scotland dying for that one chance to redeem
The lion rampant so proud so triumphant was their plight
To die on Scottish soil was well worth the fight
